Brisbane’s blessed run came to an end on Tuesday night against Macarthur FC and now the Roar will have to try and bounce back against a Jets team that is unbeaten in its last three.
They will have their fourth consecutive home game and three points is seen as compulsory in the Sunshine State.
Newcastle will undoubtedly try to follow the blueprint put out by the Bulls but I don’t see them having the personnel to frustrate the Roar the way Macarthur did.
On top of a few changes to get some fresh legs into the Roar’s starting 11, it looks like a real talent mismatch.
