It will all count for nothing though if they wind up getting blown out by Newcastle in this fixture though.

The market has somewhat overreacted to that result however, with Brighton a surprising favourite against a Newcastle team that should have them covered nine times out of ten.

In their season opening win they ground their way to a 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest with both goals coming in the second half.

While it is somewhat tempting to back Newcastle to spring an upset this weekend, Brighton showed enough against United to deserve favouritism in this one.
