Battling Fenerbahce beat Sivasspor 4-2

Fenerbahce needed a second-half fightback to beat Sivasspor 4-2 and reduce the gap behind leaders Galatasaray to six points.

Emre Belozoglu gave Fener a fourth-minute lead on Saturday but they found themselves behind before the break after Kivanc Karakas (16) an Jan Rajnoch (43) netted.

Fener rallied though with their veteran skipper Alex scoring twice in three minutes just after the hour before Emre got his second on 73 minutes to complete the comeback.

Samsunspor won their bottom-of-the-table clash at Ankaragucu 3-0.

The goals came in the opening half-hour with Ekigho Ehiosun (19, 26) twice on target after Aristide Bance’s ninth-minute opener.

Manisaspor remained three points above the drop zone following a 2-1 defeat at Antalyaspor.

Antalyaspor’s Brazilian striker Tita bagged a double (6, 65) either side of an equaliser from Isaac Promise on 16 minutes.
