Stumbling in the top-four race with a poor result last time out, Arsenal will attempt to bounce back when playing host to Brighton & Hove Albion at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners will begin the weekend outside the top four due to Monday’s surprise 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

That result marked only Arsenal’s second failure to win from eight Premier League matches, with the other coming against a streaking Liverpool side.

Meanwhile, Brighton has been plummeting down the table across recent months, with last weekend’s uninspired 0-0 stalemate against relegation-bound Norwich at the Amex ending a run of six straight top-flight defeats.

With that said, the Seagulls were able to hold Arsenal to a 0-0 draw when these clubs last met in early October.

That result marked the sixth time in eight matches that Brighton has avoided defeat against the Gunners.
