On a three game losing streak and still desperately searching for a win, Mariners boss Mike Mulvey is already under pressure in Gosford.
There were signs of promise last week when they frustrated league leaders Perth and only went down to a last minute winner.
Conceding goals is a huge issue for the Mariners as they are yet to keep a clean sheet this season, in fact the last time they went through a game without letting a goal in was round 21 last season against Wellington.
Perhaps the only thing giving them any sort of hope is the fact Sydney are still yet to click as well, however it is hard to see the reigning Premiers slipping up here.
The over 2.5 goals market has hit in Central Coast’s last three matches and that makes for a good value add to a Sydney win.
