Brumbies halfback Nic White has been ruled out of their Super Rugby clash with the Melbourne Rebels with an ankle injury.
White was set to start from the bench in the Saturday night’s match at GIO Stadium, with the Brumbies resting their usual No.9 and giving Michael Dowsett his starting debut.
But after picking up an ankle injury at training White has been ruled out.
Tuggeranong halfback Joe Powell has taken his place on the bench, now in line to make his Super Rugby debut.
