The Western Force will learn the outcome of the NSW Supreme Court appeal against their axing on Tuesday.
RugbyWA appealed against the Australian Rugby Union (ARU) decision to cut the Perth-based franchise from the Super Rugby competition and the judgment is set to be delivered in the court on Tuesday from 1000 (AEST).
Whatever the outcome, it’s unclear whether it will be the end of the matter.
RugbyWA argued that the ARU was breaking a contract that gave the Force a Super Rugby berth until the end of the 2020 broadcast deal.
