Toomua back via bench for Brumbies

Playmaker Matt Toomua will make his Super Rugby return from the bench in the Brumbies’ crunch clash with the Crusaders on Saturday.

The Canberra-based franchise have named an unchanged starting line-up for the final-round match, with Robbie Coleman to stay at No.12 and Henry Speight on the wing despite rolling an ankle last weekend.

Wallaby Toomua has missed six of the Brumbies’ last seven games with an ankle injury, but with the Brumbies assured of a finals spot, the playmaker will be eased back to the field via the bench.

Brumbies: Jesse Mogg, Henry Speight, Tevita Kuridrani, Robbie Coleman, Joe Tomane, Christian Lealiifano, Nic White, Ita Vaea, David Pockock, Scott Fardy, Blake Enever, Rory Arnold, Ben Alexander, Stephen Moore (c), Scott Sio. Reserves: Josh Mann-Rea, Allan Alaalatoa, Ruan Smith, Jordan Smiler, Jarrad Butler, Michael Dowsett, Matt Toomua, James Dargaville.
