Brumbies winger Joe Tomane is not expected to play in Friday night’s Super Rugby clash against the Queensland Reds.

Tomane had been hoping to make a return from a knee injury but is unlikely to be fully fit in time for the match at Canberra’s GIO Stadium.

Wallabies playmaker Matt Toomua and Argentina halfback Tomas Cubelli are set to line up against the Reds, while superstar David Pocock (eye socket) and Jordan Smiler (knee) remain sidelined.
