Timely returns boost Hurricanes

Two key players return to the Hurricanes for their final Super Rugby round robin match against competition leaders the Chiefs in Wellington on Friday.

Victor Vito is back at No.8 following a five-week break after injuring his knee in the All Blacks’ first Test against Ireland on June 9. Brad Shields drops back to the bench.

Fellow All Black Cory Jane has been bracketed with Alapati Leiua as cover on the wing, in what will be his first game since suffering an ankle injury against the Brumbies eight weeks ago.

Chris Eaton has been bracketed with Frae Wilson at halfback while former Chiefs and Crusaders halfback Jamie Nutbrown, drafted in as cover on Monday, is a possibility for the bench if Eaton does not recover from a hamstring strain.
