Queensland Reds Super Rugby captain and Wallaby prop James Slipper is eyeing an April return date in his comeback from off-season shoulder surgery.
Slipper carried the injury through last season and during the World Cup and there were initially fears it could have wrecked his entire 2016 campaign.
“It was a bad one. We’re working hard on it at the moment and, hopefully, I’ll get back at some point in the first half of the season,” he said.
“There’s a fair bit of hard work in front of me but I’m looking forward to it.”
