Australian utility back Ben Seymour has signed for Top 14 strugglers Agen until the end of the season after passing his medical, the French club has announced.
The 22-year-old, who has the option of extending his stay for another year, played both at fullback and five-eighth for Super 15 side Western Force.
Seymour could make his debut for the club against table toppers Toulon on Saturday.
“If he gets his licence in time, he could play at fullback against Toulon,” said Agen backs coach David Darricarrere.
Agen are presently second from bottom of the table after 12 games, but just one point from safety.
