Melbourne have re-signed their best Super Rugby player in Japan international Amanaki Mafi.
In his debut season the hard-running No.8 was a shining light in the Rebels’ disappointing year.
Mafi was linked to Japan’s Super Rugby side the Sunwolves but opted to stay in Australia with the Rebels, who were desperate to keep him following the departure of Wallabies backrower Sean McMahon to play in Japan.
