The Melbourne Rebels have suffered a hefty blow, losing leading prop Laurie Weeks for up to eight weeks with a leg fracture.
Weeks suffered the injury in Friday’s Super Rugby loss to the Hurricanes in Wellington.
Scans confirmed a fracture of his left tibial plateau.
While he does not require surgery, he is expected to sidelined for 6-8 weeks.
