Queensland Reds prop Taniela Tupou has been named on the bench for Thursday night’s Super Rugby clash with the Western Force.

The inclusion of the ‘Tongan Thor’, who has completed a two-week suspension carrying over from the Brisbane Global Rugby Tens, is the only change to the Reds squad that beat the Sharks in their season opener last week.

Boom winger Izaia Perese also remains in line to make his Super Rugby debut after he was unused in the 28-26 win over the South Africans.
