McCalman ruled out for Wallabies

Wallabies coach Michael Cheika is set to make a couple of changes to his side for the final Test against England on Saturday, while reserve back-rower Ben McCalman has been ruled out with a shoulder injury.

McCalman was on Tuesday ruled out for four to six weeks with a broken scapula (shoulder blade) after he came off the bench in Australia’s second Test loss in Melbourne, with Leroy Houston named to take his place in the squad.

“I’ll probably make a couple of changes, I would have always thought I might make a couple each game to have a look at guys who are vying for spots,” Cheika said.
