Kurtley Beale ARU conduct hearing finishes

Wallaby Kurtley Beale’s code of conduct hearing at the Australian Rugby Union (ARU) has finished.

The Friday night hearing lasted almost four hours but there was no immediate outcome from the proceedings.

Beale faced a charge of breaching section 7.3 of the ARU’s member protection policy relating to anti-discrimination and harassment.

It followed his in-flight confrontation with former Wallabies business and logistics manager Di Patston and subsequent revelations that he sent lewd text messages to teammates about the former staffer.
