World Cup-winning flanker Jerome Kaino is returning to Super Rugby side the Blues next year.
The 48-Test All Black, who plays for Japanese team Toyota Verblitz, confirmed via Twitter that he had signed with the New Zealand Rugby Union on a two-year deal.
“Hey guys I can confirm i have signed with the NZRU & Blues for 2014/15, very excited about the challenge ahead,” he tweeted.
He added: “But for now, it’s back to business for Toyota Verblitz, who have been amazing and would love return someday!”
Kaino, 30, last played for the All Blacks in their 2011 World Cup final win over France and has his eye on being part of the title defence in 2015.
