Rugby Australia has called a 3pm press conference in Sydney to announce Israel Folau’s sanction for his controversial social media posts.

The Wallabies superstar is facing the prospect of having his four-year, $4 million contract terminated after being found guilty last week of a “high-level” breach of his contract.

Should he be sacked, Folau would have 72 hours to appeal and force a second code of conduct hearing.
