Playmaker Frederic Michalak and loose forward Louis Picamoles will leave France’s rugby tour of New Zealand early because of injuries.
Five-eighth/halfback Michalak has a dislocated shoulder and No.8 Picamoles a bruised hip.
They are scheduled to fly out on Tuesday.
The pair picked up their injuries in the 30-0 second Test defeat to the All Blacks in Christchurch on Saturday night, when Picamoles was replaced in the 53rd minute.
With just the third Test in New Plymouth on Saturday left on the tour itinerary and 33 players still available for selection, team management have decided against calling for replacements.
France also had a player go home early following their 23-13 loss in the opening Test in Auckland, after flanker Fulgence Ouedraogo suffered an ankle injury in that match.
A replacement, Damien Chouly, was called out for Ouedraogo, and Chouly came off the bench in the 38-15 midweek win over the Blues just hours after he stepped off the plane.
