Under-fire NSW Waratahs coach Michael Foley is set to announce he’s staying on for the next Super Rugby season.
It is understood Foley has the Waratahs’ backing and will continue his contract in 2013, with the coach poised to confirm the news to Fox Sports on Thursday night.
Foley’s position at the Sydney-based franchise was said to be in some doubt after his charges won only four of their first 14 games this season.
He fronted the NSW Waratahs board almost two weeks ago, seeking to explain the poor season while outlining his vision for the future.
