Game-breaking Wallabies and NSW Waratahs fullback Israel Folau is ahead of schedule following ankle surgery and set to resume running next week.
Folau required an operation after he returned from last year’s Rugby World Cup, where he injured his ankle.
“He’s healed well, I think the break has been good for his head space and good for his body,” Waratahs coach Daryl Gibson told AAP on Wednesday.
