Brothers Ben and Owen Franks switch roles in the only change to the Crusaders team to contest the Super Rugby semi-final against the Chiefs on Friday.

Ben Franks will start at tighthead prop for the Hamilton match while fellow-All Black Owen drops to the reserve bench.

All Blacks No.8 Kieran Read, who missed Saturday’s emphatic 28-13 playoff defeat of the Bulls in Christchurch, is still sidelined by a rib injury. It means captain Richie McCaw remains at No.8 and Matt Todd on the openside flank.

At stake is a place in the final against the winners of the all-South African semi-final between the Stormers and Sharks in Cape Town on Sunday morning.
