The Crusaders go from the Lions’ den to the Bull ring for their second Super Rugby game this weekend in a three-match South African tour with the reassurance of Dan Carter’s reliable boot behind them.
After a bruising 23-13 win over the Lions in Johannesburg last week, Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder has made just one change for the team to front against the Bulls in Pretoria on Sunday (NZT).
All Blacks five-eighth Carter will take over the kicking duties, while Ryan Crotty returns to No.12 and Tom Taylor takes a place on the bench.
Crusaders: Israel Dagg, Sean Maitland, Robbie Fruean, Ryan Crotty, Zac Guildford, Dan Carter, Andy Ellis, Kieran Read, Matt Todd, George Whitelock, Sam Whitelock, Luke Romano, Owen Franks, Corey Flynn, Wyatt Crocket. Reserves: Quentin MacDonald, Ben Franks, Tom Donnelly, Luke Whitelock, Willi Heinz, Tom Taylor, Tom Marshall.
