Brumbies sign Godwin from Force

The Brumbies have secured the services of rising star Kyle Godwin for the next two Super Rugby seasons.

The 24-year-old centre, who is pushing to make his Wallabies debut against South Africa in the Rugby Championship on Saturday, joins from the Western Force where he played 52 games.

Godwin is a strong chance to get a start in the midfield given Matt Toomua is headed to English club Leicester while there’s still doubt over the immediate playing future of inside back Christian Lealiifano who’s being treated for leukaemia.
