Australia have made one injury-enforced change to their squad for the second round of the IRB World Rugby Sevens series in Dubai this week.
Former sevens captain James Stannard has been drafted into the squad in place of Cameron Clark, who has been ruled out with a quadriceps strain.
A former Western Force player, 30-year-old Stannard returned to Australia from Japan last year and has been a regular in Australia’s sevens set-ups over the past 12 months.
Australia will be aiming to build on their impressive start to this year’s series after finishing as runners-up to New Zealand in the opening round on the Gold Coast in October.
Australia will play Wales, Scotland and Spain in their pool in Dubai starting on November 29.
Australia sevens squad: Paul Asquith, James Stannard, Con Foley, Lewis Holland, Greg Jeloudev, Ed Jenkins (capt), Tom Lucas, Nick Malouf, Sean McMahon, Luke Morahan, Jesse Parahi, Shannon Walker.
