6N: Wales lock Hill out with ankle injury

Wales lock Cory Hill will miss the rest of the Six Nations Championship after damaging his ankle scoring the winning try against England.

Hill damaged the ankle barging past England forwards Harry Williams and Billy Vunipola on Saturday in Cardiff to give Wales the lead late and for the first time, and limped off the field.

Scans on Tuesday revealed he won’t be able to play at least the last two matches against Scotland and Ireland over the next three weeks as Wales goes for its first Six Nations title since 2013.

Wales have yet to say whether they will replace Hill in the squad, but are unlikely to with Adam Beard, Jake Ball, and Sebastian Davies available to partner captain Alun Wyn Jones in the second row.
