Aussie diver finishes 4th at London event

Young Australian diver Ethan Warren has come agonisingly close to picking up a medal in the 3m springboard at the Olympic test event in London.

The 20-year-old missed out on bronze by a quarter of a point after producing a personal best score in international competition of 511.70 points.

China’s reigning Olympic and world champion He Chong (553.35) won the World Cup event ahead of compatriot Qin Kai (524.00) and Canada’s Alexandre Despatie (511.95).

The trio filled the podium in the 3m at the Beijing Games.
