USA vs Australia/Matildas Odds and Betting Preview – Soccer/Football 2020/21 Tokyo Olympics

The Matildas face a tough task against the United States of America if betting is anything to go by at TAB.

The pair clash tonight in the final game of Group G where Australia are $7 outsiders against an American outfit that are paying $1.32.

USA were tournament favourites prior to The Games commencing but were routed 3-0 by Sweden in the opening match. They head into tonight’s game after thrashing New Zealand 6-1.

The Matildas made hard work of New Zealand by beating them 2-1 in their first game but lost 4-2 to Sweden a few days ago.

While a loss wouldn’t necessarily spell the end of Australia’s hopes, The Matildas need a solid performance if they are to progress to the knockout stages.

Tony Gustavsson’s side are $15 to claim Gold.

Meanwhile, the Olyroos are slight $2.40 favourites at TAB to beat Egypt in their final pool match tomorrow night and progress through to the next round.

Graham Arnold’s side were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Spain in their most recent outing but a strong win against Argentina has them finely placed to play knockout football.
