Torah’s odds have drifted from $2.20 to $2.30 at Sportingbet but she is still in front of world number one American Kelly Clark, whose odds have firmed from $3 into $2.75.

“Despite all the drama surrounding Torah and her concerns with the halfpipe course our patriotic punters are sticking with her,” Sportingbet’s Andrew Brown said.

Australians in action on Tuesday night include Anna Segal who is a $21 chance to win the women’s slopestyle, while snowboarders Nathan Johnstone ($34) and Scotty James ($51) are outside chances of winning Australia’s first medal in the men’s halfpipe.

It’s odds-on at $1.50 with Sportingbet that Australia wins at least one medal in Sochi.
