This Russian heavyweight is an absolute star. He is just an utter beast who has an 83-5 record and has not lost since 2017. This is not the strongest heavyweight Olympic class. He will be starting very short in the final.
Women’s Welterweight – Gold
BET: Oshae Jones at $4.50
American Jones has won 12 straight fights dating back to 2019 and looks good value to advance past her Chinese semi-final opponent Hong Gu. Jones has a major experience edge and notably more power.
ATHLETICS
Men’s Decathlon – Gold
BET: Kevin Mayer at $SP.00
The current World Record holder, Frenchman Kevin Mayer has fallen to No.6 in the world. Won the silver in Rio and has posted at least 8500 in each of the last four years. His upside is enough to beat the favourite.
Women’s Heptathlon – Gold
BET: Xenia Krizsan at $41.00
Hungarian who has improved markedly since Rio. She has the third best score this year. Did claim bronze in the 2018 World Indoor Champs. Should not be underestimated at a big price.
Men’s Javelin – Gold
BET: Johannes Vetter at SP.00
Put in and take out job with German Johannes Vetter in the men’s Javelin. He is short but he looks unbeatable. Averaging 91m this year while none of his competition have broken 90m. Operating in a different class.
GOLF
Women’s Golf – Medal
BET: Matilda Castren at $SP.00
Young Finnish star Matilda Castrern should have an excellent Olympic tournament. She had a breakthrough win in the Mediheal this year and has posted Top 20 finishes in four of her last five LPGA starts. She ranks 4th in GIR and 4th in Rounds in the 60s.
Women’s Golf – Gold
BET: Patty Tavatanakit at $SP.00
The next great star of the LPGA Tour. She already has a major to her name. She ranked Top 10 in Driving Distance, Putts Per GIR and Rounds Under Par. Consistency is her big issue but the top end of her game puts her right in the mix.
