Swede Armand Duplantis is about as good as you can get at Pole Vault and understandably, he has opened a $1.13 favourite for Gold in Tokyo.
While that price is too short for me, I’m eager to pump up my odds again with a Same Game Multi, and I think that it lies with world number 3 Piotr Lisek winning a medal.
Lisek’s consistency on tour this year has been the key to his world ranking heading into the Games, and he is an athlete who typically steps up in moments of high pressure.
We’re only getting a combined $2.84, but I think that it looks a terrific bet.
