How good are the Matildas?

Australia’s most entertaining football team advanced to the Semi Finals for the first time in their history with an epic win over Great Britain.

Now they have to back it all up again tonight against a Swedish side they are facing for the third time in less than two months.

The friendly in mid-June finished 0-0 thanks to the efforts of Teagan Micah however the group stage match was much more convincing with the Swedes coming away 4-2 victors nine days ago.

While Brenton Speed will tell us about the Matildas never say die attitude on the broadcast several times, it is a massive ask for them to back up from that draining contest.
