We are down to the final eight in the women’s football tournament and the Matildas managed to qualify thanks to a scoreless draw with the USA on Tuesday.
As for the Brits they cruised through their group with wins over Chile and Japan before drawing with Canada in their final game.
We should see this game played at a slightly higher intensity that the Matildas last outing and I’ll back a few goals to be scored here.
Since they returned to action in April, six of the Matildas’ nine games have seen at least three goals scored.
