Marvin Vettori vs Jared Cannonier

Tip: Jared Cannonier by KO/TKO @ $3.25

Both of these Middleweights have had a shot at the title against champion Israel Adesanya in the past, but a win would put them back in the picture once again.

Marvin Vettori has just four losses inside the UFC and three of them have come against Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker.

After losing his title fight against Izzy he moved to Light Heavyweight to face Paulo Costa, a fight he won via decision.

He then lost to Whittaker before getting back on track at UFC 286 with a decision win over Roman Dolidze.

Jared Cannonier suffered a similar fate against Izzy losing by decision in July 2022 but he too bounced back with a tight split decision win over Sean Strickland.

His last five losses in the UFC have been against current or former champions and the market is struggling to split these two in betting.

All six of Vettori’s pro losses have been via a decision and he has never been finished.

I’m predicting that ends on Sunday.

Arman Tsarukyan vs Joaquim Silva

Tip: How will the fight end – Submission at $3.70

Arman Tsarukyan started his UFC career with a decision loss against now Lightweight champion Islam Mahkachev back in 2019 but he then put together five wins in a row.

He went to war with Mateusz Gamrot in a fight of the night in June 2022, but ultimately lost a decision before bouncing back with a win to close out the year.

Brazilian Joaquim Silva was KO’d twice in a row before securing a performance of the night award in October last year.

He won his first seven pro MMA fights via first round finish but has won just twice in his last five outings.

Tsarukyan is pretty much better in all facets of MMA and will start a very short price in this fight head to head.

I wouldn’t be surprised if large portions of this fight takes place on the canvas and in search of some value I’m backing a submission finish from either fighter.

Armen Petrosyan vs Christian Duncan

Tip: Christian Duncan $1.62

Armenian born Italian Armen Petrosyan is a veteran of 93 kickboxing fights and will make his MMA debut on Sunday at the Apex.

The 36 year old has not been very active in the last few years and he he has lost five of his last six kickboxing bouts.

His opponent, Christian Duncan, is on the other end of his career and at 27 has just eight pro MMA fights on his resume.

Working in his favour is the fact he boasts an undefeated record with six of those wins coming via KO/TKO.

He made his UFC debut in March but that fight ended with a knee injury to Dusko Todorovic.

This is one of the more interesting fights on the entire card but I’m happy to side with the younger and more experienced, in terms of MMA, fighter.
