Miesha Tate vs Ketlen Vieira

Tip: Ketlen Vieira at $1.98

Former UFC Bantamweight champions Miesha Tate returned to the octagon after four and a half years away when defeating Marion Reneau in July.

The 35 year old looked as good as ever in that fight, eventually getting the stoppage via TKO in the third round.

Ketlen Vieira won her first 10 professional fights but has now lost two of her last three including a unanimous decision loss to Yana Kunitskaya in February.

She is currently the #7 ranked Women’s Bantamweight.

Tate may be much older this time around, but she looks fitter than ever and it is obvious to me that she is taking this title run seriously.

Her win against Reneau was impressive against an older fighter but this is a whole other challenge.

Vieira is a tall, long striker who is also a BJJ black belt and I think she gets the job done, all but putting an end to Tate’s title run.

Michael Chiesa vs Sean Brady

Tip: Fight To Go The Distance

Michael Chiesa was on an excellent run in the UFC with four straight wins including wins over Carlos Condit, Rafael dos Anjos and Neil Magny.

He came up short when he was caught in a D’arce choke by Vicente Luque in August which put a halt to his title aspirations.

Sean Brady is an undefeated fighter from 14 professional fights, four inside the UFC promotion.

The 28 year old is a BJJ black belt under Daniel Gracie and he showed his submission skills against both Christian Aguilera (guillotine) and Jake Matthews (arm-triangle) in his last two fights.

This is by far the toughest challenge that he has faced and it will be a brave man to welcome Chiesa to a fight on the canvas.

Chiesa is simply not a good striker, and has proven in his career that he is determined to take the fight to the ground and this will again be the case in this fight.

This is a very interesting fight and one that pure MMA fans will enjoy and despite the fact that I am struggling to split the two head to head I believe the fight will need the judges opinion.

Rani Yahya v Kang Kyung-ho

Tip: Rani Yahya at $1.90

Yani Yahya made his debut in the UFC way back in 2011 with a win over Mike Brown and he has just two losses in his last 11 fights.

A majority draw against Enrique was his only fight in 2020 and he comes into this fight on the back of a submission win (arm triangle) against Ray Rodriguez in March.

South Korean Kang Jyung-ho put together three wins in a row in 2019 but he has not been seen in the octagon since December of that year.

He has just seven fights since 2014 but has suffered just the one loss.

Kang is not a dangerous fighter, preferring to take his opponents to the ground and use his excellent grappling and wrestling.

Rani is also a high level grappler who has been around since the WEC days and he also has the advantage on the feet.

I think Yahya is on another level in all forms of MMA and we are getting a nice price.
