Jose Aldo vs Pedro Munhoz Tips, Odds, Live Stream and Betting Preview – UFC 265

It seems as if Jose Aldo has been around forever but the fact is that the Brazilian is just 34 years of age!

The two-time UFC Featherweight champion is an absolute legend of the sport and he holds the record for the most successful title defences in UFC Featherweight history with seven.

He comes into this fight having lost three of his last four fights but his latest fight was a unanimous decision win against Marlon Vera back in December last year.

Back to back losses for Pedro Munhoz to current Bantamweight champ Aljamain Sterling and Frankie Edgar was followed by a unanimous decision win against Jimmie Rivera back in February.

Both of these fighters are stand up strikers who have vicious leg kicks so we are in for a war!

Aldo overwhelms his opponents with his output and pressure with his Muay Thai style and he is very good in the clinch and his takedown defence is a huge part of his game (He has stuffed 91% of all takedown attempts in his career).

Munhoz is the same age as Aldo with 11 less professional MMA fights and his path to victory is usually set up with his vicious calf/lower kicks.

This is a high, high level fight at Bantamweight and while the best may be passed him, I think Jose Aldo still does enough to get the win.
