Tate put together five wins in a row culminating in the Bantamweight championship when she beat Holly Holm via a rear naked choke in March 2016.
Her career ended with back to back losses against current champ champ Amanda Nunes and then Raquel Pennington.
Marion Reneau did not scale to the heights that Tate did but she is an active fighter now when the competitive is far tougher than in Tate’s UFC career.
