The first Sydney Derby of the season gets underway on Wednesday in what should be a scintillating battle between first and second.

The Sixers currently hold a narrow two-point lead atop the table, but they probably won’t feel too comfortable after losing to the Scorchers last week in Perth.

Likewise, the Thunder are also coming off a loss to Perth, which only complicates matters as both sides look to bounce back.

There really isn’t much separating these two side on paper other than the fact the Sixers have won three of the last five meetings.
