The Sixers and the Stars will determine the winner of this years Big Bash Final on Saturday night.
We should be treated to a thrilling match at the SCG, if the weather permits. Rain is threatening to wash out the decider, meaning the Sixers would be crowned the champions after beating the Stars in The Qualifier last week.
The bookies are banking on the weather by offering both sides at $2.00 odds. It’s surprising to find that kind of value in the market, but if the rain does hold off, you really can’t go wrong with the Sixers playing at home.
Sydney is the in-form side having won four matches on the trot. They are also well-rested having played against the Stars last Friday in a 43-run victory.
Melbourne looked good on Thursday night in their win over the Thunder, but Sydney has so much depth to fall back on now that Steve Smith and Nathan Lyon are in the side.
If you’re looking to really cash in, it might be worth throwing Jordan Silk into your multi. He finished 25 not out when these two sides met last week and has also averaged 43 runs in 10 matches against the Thunder.
