The 76ers overcame Washington 141-136 at Wells Fargo Center yesterday.

Joel Embiid scored a season-high 38 points to lead Philly to its seventh win from his seven games on court this season.

Embiid has often sat out one leg of a back-to-back set and his availability should be a key factor in this contest. Meanwhile, it was no Kevin Durant no worries for the Nets during their latest 130-96 blowout win over Utah.

Jarrett Allen recorded 19 points and 18 rebounds (both season-highs) during that contest, while he also held Rudy Gobert to 3-10 shooting from the field.

As such, his potential matchup with Embiid on Thursday could prove crucial.
