Despite the continued absence of Devin Booker, the Suns claimed Game 5 112-97 at Footprint Center on Tuesday night, taking a 3-2 series lead. Notably, there’s reportedly a chance Booker will return for Game 6. Mikal Bridges was incredible en route to Tuesday’s victory, recording 31 points and four blocks, while Chris Paul added 22 points, 11 assists and three steals. The Suns now hold a 34-4 record when Paul records a double-double this season. Slowing down Paul is imperative for the Pelicans, while they will also be hopeful Brandon Ingram can improve upon his 22-point display (7-19 shooting) from Game 5.
