The Lakers were last in action at Oklahoma City, claiming a 128-99 victory. LeBron James and Anthony Davis were both questionable for that game and have retained that now-customary tag ahead of this one. Davis’ status could prove especially important given he averaged 36.0 points and 12.0 rebounds during the Lakers’ sweep of last season’s four-game series against his former club. Meanwhile, the Pelicans were without Zion Williamson, Eric Bledsoe and Lonzo Ball against the Clippers, resulting in a 111-106 loss. Williamson will return while Bledsoe is questionable, meaning less could be asked of Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who finished Wednesday’s game with a career-high 37 points.
