The first Melbourne Derby of the season gets underway on Sunday between the league’s bottom two sides.

There’s been very little to like about either side so far, but this does look a winnable game for the Stars as they try and salvage something from this lost season.

The ‘Gades did well to win by six wickets against the Strikers last Friday, but they quickly reverted back to their old ways with a five-wicket loss to the Heat.

To make matters worse, the Stars have won four of their last five games against their local rival.

Marcus Stoinis has averaged just over 66 runs against the ‘Gades in his Big Bash career, so this looks to be a nice little multi spot for the two.
