Two of the association’s cellar dwellers will meet at Little Caesars Arena when the 4-9 Houston Rockets face the 3-11 Detroit Pistons.

Detroit will enter Friday’s matchup freshly removed from a 123-115 overtime loss at Atlanta – its fourth defeat in five. Ahead 92-78 going into the fourth period, it marked the biggest three-quarter-time margin the Pistons have led by before going on to lose the game since March 26, 2014.

That loss came despite the best efforts of Jerami Grant, who recorded a career-high 32 points.

Meanwhile, Houston is continuing to struggle in the absence of John Wall (out), with its latest 109-103 failure against Phoenix marking a fifth loss in six.
