Phoenix has essentially run it back this season, with Chris Paul returning alongside Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton. Meanwhile, Denver will also begin its campaign with a similar roster to 2020-21, with Paul Millsap marking the only notable departure. As such, reigning MVP, Nikola Jokic, along with Michael Porter Jr. will lead the franchise in the absence of Jamal Murray due to his ACL injury. Porter Jr.’s vaccination status may cause some headaches throughout the campaign, although he’ll be available on Wednesday.
