The Hawks have been the early surprise packets of the 2021 season as they look to maintain their unbeaten record with another upset win over the Taipans on Thursday night.
Brian Goorjian’s side made short work of Cairns with a 16-point win back in Round 1, but judging by the odds on offer, that still hasn’t been enough to sway the bookies in favour of the visitors.
Cairns, meanwhile, has suffered back-to-back losses to the Kings and Melbourne since losing to the Hawks a fortnight ago.
The Taipans’ biggest problem this season has been securing rebounds, which in turn has left them ranking seventh in points-per-game.
