Boom South Sydney rookie Aaron Gray has re-signed with the NRL club until the end of 2017.
Rated as one of rugby league’s best up-and-coming talents, Gray’s future has been the source of much speculation in recent weeks including a possible move to Melbourne.
But the 21-year-old revealed on Monday he has re-signed with the Rabbitohs for two more seasons.
“I’m a South Sydney junior and I always wanted to stay here, so it is good to get the deal done,” he said.
A NSW representative at Under-20s level, Gray has impressed in his 11 first grade appearances so far.
He has scored seven tries and is a contender for rookie of the year.
