Uncapped Manly back Dean Whare is among the latest additions to the New Zealand train-on squad for the one-off Test against the Australia in Townsville on October 13.
Rotorua-born Whare, 22, is a former Junior Kiwi who plays centre, wing or fullback. He has signed with Penrith for the next two NRL seasons.
The two others added to the Kiwis train-on squad are Manly five-eighth Kieran Foran and South Sydney hooker Issac Luke.
Several other players in contention for Kiwis selection feature in Sunday’s grand final between Canterbury and Melbourne.
The 19-man New Zealand Test squad is due to be named on Tuesday.
