The West Tigers registered their third consecutive win and their fifth of the year with a 21 – 18 win over Parramatta last week.
Where and when: Sunday, Apr 27, Leichhardt Oval, NINE, 3:00pm
The Tigers took every opportunity afforded to them by Parramatta, scoring two length-of-the-field intercept tries and capitalising on a Parramatta fumble late in the game to slot a field goal and edge the Tigers in front.

It typifies the West Tigers of 2014 who are back themselves and that kind of play, has seen them involved in some high-scoring matches this year. Four matches have produced over 50 points and their average total-point score for the matches this year is only slightly less at 46.
The Tigers, who sit at the top of the table with Manly, Bulldogs and this weekend’s opponents, the Titans, head back to Leichhardt Oval for this match where from their last five matches, they’ve won four.
The Titans suffered their first defeat since losing comprehensively to the Tigers in round 2, last week against Penrith 14 – 12.
Penrith scored first, the fourth week in a row the opposition have gotten the jump on the Titans but another strong defensive effort by the Titans, who had limited teams to 12 points or less in the past month, kept them in the hunt at half time.

The even struggled continued in the second half and whilst the Titans had their chances, the Panthers defence held and limited them to the one try late in the match, securing a narrow victory.
The Titans will have to start well here for, as they showed in round 2, if the Tigers get on a roll they can be hard to reel in.
Not much in this one but at Leichhardt and with good momentum behind them, the Tigers 1 – 12.
